Boyne Valley launches new craft experiences & itineraries

Meath tourism providers have launched new craft experiences and itineraries in the Boyne Valley. Visitors participate in hands-on workshops with local artists. Families and groups book these activities throughout the year.

Framed by Nature with Sonas Craft Studio combines Nordic walking and decoupage frame making at Martina Farrell’s studio. Boann Irish Felt offers wet felting sessions to create flower brooches. Boyne Valley Wools provides spinning demonstrations on a working sheep farm with Alison Fullam Gogan.

A Word from the Heart with Anita Reynolds Art and Design focuses on personalised clay heart keepsakes. Bréidín na Bóinne delivers weaving workshops on a hand loom in a Gaeltacht community. 

The Meath Made Creates Festival will take place on 16 August and 17 August 2026 at the Swift Cultural Centre in Trim.
