TWO weeks to go: Belfast prepares food and drink offerings for Fleadh Cheoil

Belfast City Council has prepared the city food and drink scene for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann visitors. 

Over 800,000 people plan to attend the event from 2 August to 9 August. Venues across the city organise special offers and taster menus.

A Food and Drink Village beside Belfast Cathedral operates with local traders and producers. St George’s Market extends opening hours throughout the week. The ICC Belfast Waterfront Hall hosts a Craic and Craft Market with street food vendors.

Additional events include the Titanic Quarter Night Market and Titanic Food Festival. Late-night bus services support extended visitor stays. Councillor Joe Duffy chairs the council’s City Growth and Regeneration Committee.
