Travelport signs content agreement with Aeroitalia

Travelport and Aeroitalia have signed a multi-year content agreement that will make Aeroitalia’s content available to agencies through Travelport. The agreement expands access to content in the local market, with rich content and branding capabilities set to be activated from year two. Aeroitalia’s content has previously been available only through competitor platforms.

Massimo Di Perna, Aeroitalia Chief Commercial Officer, stated the agreement is an important step in making content more accessible to travel agencies as the airline continues to grow its network across Italy and beyond. He stated the airline’s evolving portfolio of partnerships is increasing visibility and connectivity in international markets. Damian Hickey, Global Head of Travel Partners at Travelport, stated the agreement closes a content gap for the agency network.

Aeroitalia serves 26 airports, 22 of which are in Italy, offering 43 routes between Italy and Europe. The airline has planned to expand its fleet with five new Boeing 737-800 MAX aircraft, with first deliveries expected from March 2027.
