Ambassador Cruise Line unveils new trade portal

Ambassador Cruise Line will launch a new Trade Portal in September.
The announcement was made aboard the Ambition in Dundee.
ROL Cruise specialists have tested and refined the portal since February.
Features include cruise search, booking management and downloadable marketing assets.
Future updates will allow agency administrators to manage users.

Ambassador Cruise Line has unveiled plans to launch a new Trade Portal this autumn, consolidating multiple systems into a single platform. The announcement was made during an event aboard the Ambition in Dundee, marking the start of a phased rollout ahead of the portal becoming available to all Ambassador trade partners in September. The cruise line will work directly with partners to create individual user accounts, replacing shared logins.

Nicola Harper, head of distribution, stated the company took a step back at the beginning of the year and looked at the whole journey from an agent’s perspective to create something that would fully serve partners’ needs. Specialists at ROL Cruise have worked closely with Ambassador’s development team since February, testing and refining the portal at every stage.

Key features include cruise search, booking management, live campaigns, trade incentives, training, downloadable marketing assets, ship visit requests and business support all in one system. Cruise search uses the same filters as Ambassador’s website, reducing clicks needed to find offers. A personalized dashboard shows agency-specific offers alongside national campaigns automatically. Future functionalities will allow designated agency administrators to create, manage and remove users.
