Just moments away, Titanic Distillers is housed in the historic Thompson Dock Pumphouse, where RMS Titanic once stood during her fitting out, now home to Belfast’s first working whiskey distillery in almost 90 years. The experience includes a guided tour exploring Belfast’s whiskey heritage, the distillation process, and the story behind the revival of whiskey production on this historic site, followed by a guided tasting. Guests can return to the hotel before enjoying a breakfast in the Wolff Grill the following morning.

The city’s cultural events include Northern Threads, the fashion exhibition at Titanic Belfast, continuing until 30 September, and European Heritage Open Days on 12-13 September. The Belfast International Arts Festival returns from 14 October to 8 November for its 64th edition, bringing more than 200 events to over 30 venues. Belfast’s thriving restaurant and bar scene, live music, shopping, and compact city centre make it an ideal destination for an autumn weekend away.
