Topflight has added four new Dolomites resorts to its Winter 2026/27 ski programme, giving Irish skiers more choice in Italy this winter with Madonna di Campiglio, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena and Pinzolo all joining or rejoining the offering. The expansion builds on Topflight’s more than 50 years of experience in Italy and gives skiers access to the Dolomiti Superski network, which offers more than 1,200km of pistes across 12 ski areas. The new resorts bring different characteristics to the programme, from elegant resort centres to relaxed traditional bases.
- Madonna di Campiglio: A stylish, fashionable resort (often called the “Pearl of the Dolomites”) in the Brenta Dolomites of Trentino, at about 1,550 m. It offers ~150–156 km of well-groomed, mostly intermediate pistes (linked with Pinzolo, Folgarida and Marilleva), excellent snowmaking, modern lifts, and scenic tree-lined runs. Known for its chic Italian atmosphere, quality accommodation, and lively yet sophisticated après-ski; good for mixed-ability groups and families.
- Val di Fassa: A scenic valley in the heart of the Dolomites (Trentino) with several villages (notably Canazei and Campitello). It provides around 120–200 km of local pistes across multiple sectors, strong intermediate cruising terrain, and direct access to the famous Sella Ronda circuit plus the wider Dolomiti Superski network (1,200 km). Stunning high-alpine scenery, varied runs for all levels, and traditional Ladin culture; ideal for those wanting extensive linked skiing.
- Val Gardena: A renowned Dolomites valley in South Tyrol (with main villages Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva), offering about 175–181 km of local pistes plus seamless access to the Sella Ronda and the vast Dolomiti Superski area. Famous for varied intermediate terrain, dramatic scenery (Sassolungo and Sella Group), World Cup heritage (e.g., Saslong downhill), and strong Ladin cultural identity with excellent facilities. One of the top all-round Dolomite ski destinations.
- Pinzolo: A quieter, more relaxed and family-friendly resort in Val Rendena (Trentino), lower down at around 770–800 m and lift-linked to Madonna di Campiglio. It forms part of the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta / Skirama area (~150 km combined). Features intermediate-friendly slopes, some steeper blacks, a snowpark, and a traditional village atmosphere with more affordable prices than its glamorous neighbour. Good base for those preferring a calmer vibe while still accessing the larger linked ski area
According to Topflight, Madonna di Campiglio combines extensive skiing with an elegant resort centre and lively après-ski scene, while nearby Pinzolo offers a more relaxed, traditional base with access to the wider Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area. Val Gardena places skiers in the heart of the Dolomites with access to the Sellaronda ski circuit, while Val di Fassa also offers access to the Sellaronda along with high-altitude skiing and dramatic mountain scenery. The Dolomites are renowned for their combination of Italian and Alpine culture, welcoming mountain villages and exceptional food against the dramatic peaks of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed mountains.
