The World Travel & Tourism Council has brought together more than 200 of the world’s leading Travel & Tourism CEOs and senior executives in Malta next month, as Valletta prepares to host the 26th WTTC Global Summit from 7-9 October 2026. The Summit theme, FUTU[RE]SET: Shaping the Future of Travel & Tourism, explores the major forces transforming the global travel landscape.
The event gathers senior decision-makers from across hospitality, aviation, cruise, travel technology, financial services, destination investment and travel distribution. Senior leaders confirmed to attend include Christopher J. Nassetta of Hilton, Elie Maalouf of IHG Hotels & Resorts, Alejandro Reynal of Four Seasons, Tony Fernandes of Capital A, Jane Sun of Trip.com Group and Pierfrancesco Vago of MSC Group. They join senior executives from American Express Travel, Accor, Marriott International, Expedia Group, Iberostar, JPMorganChase, JTB Corp, Technogym, VFS Global and Virtuoso.
For Malta, the Summit represents a landmark opportunity, bringing an unprecedented concentration of global Travel & Tourism leadership to the island.
