A group of French business travel buyers, all specialists in organising international meetings and incentive travel programmes, has been exploring Antrim, Derry and Down as guests of Tourism Ireland, Tourism NI, and Horizons by Tour Partner Group. The visit aimed to give the influential buyers a taste of Ireland’s offering as a destination for meetings and incentive travel, inspiring them to recommend the region to their clients and ultimately grow Business Events from France.
The buyers’ itinerary included Belfast and a walking food tour, McConnell’s Distillery, and Titanic Belfast. The group travelled along the Causeway Coastal Route, visiting the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle, before continuing to Glenshane Country Farm near Maghera and making their way to Ballywalter Park and Tracey’s Farmhouse Kitchen.
