Novotel has launched its inaugural global Longevity Week, a coordinated wellness campaign running from 7 to 13 September 2026 across more than 630 properties worldwide. The initiative shifts the focus from exclusive luxury spa retreats to practical micro-habits that everyday travellers can integrate into their routines, drawing on the brand’s broader Longevity Everyday strategy. The event is intentionally hosted during the 37th week of the year, with the brand noting that improving health by 1% each day compounds into a 37-fold transformation over the course of a single year.
The week’s programming is structured around four primary wellness pillars: Eat, Sleep, Move and Meet, with Novotel utilising its newly formed Novotel 37 Collective, a global network of athletes, health experts and advocates, to lead free masterclasses and talks streamed via Instagram and YouTube. Spanish hotels including properties in Madrid and Valencia feature targeted sleep and wellness activities, with plant-forward cooking classes led by chef Alfie Steiner highlighting sustainable nutrition through the Oh My Greens! dining programme. Sleep optimisation strategies are guided by sleep expert Olivia Arezzolo, while Olympic gold-medallist surfer Kauli Vaast leads morning warm-up masterclasses and footballer Javier Pastore conducts sessions focused on performance and social connection.
The initiative is backed by a major global consumer study commissioned by Novotel, which surveyed 13,000 respondents across 12 countries and revealed that 71% of people are significantly more attentive to their long-term future wellbeing than five years ago. The research also indicated that 76% of respondents express a desire to adopt a healthier lifestyle but struggle to navigate complex or conflicting health advice online. Novotel’s strategy positions the hotel brand as an accessible wellness partner rather than a premium retreat provider, with the Longevity Week programming available to all guests without additional charges.
