Tourism Ireland has hosted its annual B2B travel trade workshop in Amsterdam, bringing together 17 tourism companies from across the island with Dutch travel professionals. The workshop has involved hundreds of commercial meetings aimed at inspiring fresh itineraries and ensuring the island of Ireland features strongly in future programmes to deliver overseas tourism business for 2027 and beyond. Companies from diverse hotels, outdoor adventure providers, visitor attractions and heritage sites have participated.

Karen van der Horst, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Northern Europe, shared Dutch travel partners have taken time to meet in Amsterdam and find out more about the richness of the tourism offering. The workshop has provided opportunities for Tourism Ireland and its partners from Ireland to remind Dutch travel professionals about scenery, food and drink offering, visitor attractions and outdoor experiences across the island of Ireland.

The event has included representatives from Tourism Ireland, Tourism NI and tourism enterprises. Tourism Ireland has continued to promote the island of Ireland as a destination for Dutch travellers through trade engagement and commercial meetings.
