The New Zealand additions form part of Marriott’s broader strategy to capture growth in Oceania’s tourism sector. The properties will operate under multiple brands within the Marriott portfolio. Construction timelines and opening dates have not been revealed. The Asia Pacific region has seen increased hotel development activity as international travel demand recovers following pandemic disruptions.
