Spring Hotels has planned a major refurbishment of Tenerife’s Cleopatra Palace Hotel. The group will unveil details at World Travel Market London from 3 to 5 November 2026. The four-star property forms part of the Mare Nostrum Resort acquired in 2025.
The renovation will follow an experiential luxury concept. Works are scheduled from 27 March to 1 July 2027. Public areas including reception and restaurant will be upgraded. Apartment annexes and selected sections will remain open during the three-month window. The property has retained much of its classic Greco-Roman design since opening 30 years ago.
Spring Hotels reported a 19pc increase in revenue and a 15pc rise in overnight stays after acquiring the Mare Nostrum Resort. The group will also highlight family-focused developments at WTM London. The Cleopatra Palace is located in Playa de las Américas. Full project details and designs will be presented at Stand S3-210.
