TourismNI has attended the Samhain Feast in Barcelona hosted by Tourism Ireland. The business-to-business event engaged almost 30 travel agents and tour operators from Spain. The event showcased heritage, culture, events and experiences across the six counties.
The programme included storytelling, traditional food experiences and discussions. Bakehouse NI and Belfast Distillery Company’s McConnell’s Irish Whisky provided barmbrack making demonstrations and a whiskey cocktail experience. The event highlighted experiences during the off-season and Halloween period.
The activity aimed to strengthen the region’s international positioning. It aimed to drive future programme development and inspire itineraries. The event supports year-round visitor discovery.
