Ireland won the friendliest country in Europe in the 2023 Condé Nast Traveller reader awards, the most prominent of three awards won by the island.
Adare Manor, managed by Brendan O’Connor, won the best resort in Europe and the Westbury Hotel, managed by Vincent O’Gorman, won the best hotel award for Ireland.
