Ryanair has opened a new maintenance facility at Nuremberg Airport in Germany, costing €5m and creating 100 new jobs.
The facility spans 3,700 m² and can accommodate two of the carrier’s B737s side-by-side.
This investment will support Ryanair’s growing fleet, which is projected to reach over 600 aircraft by 2026 and over 800 aircraft by 2034.
Ryanair has announced its winter 2023/2024 schedule for Nuremberg, featuring 14 routes, including a new winter-sun destination, Lanzarote.
Frequencies on routes to Alicante, London, and Tenerife will be increased, providing more travel options for passengers.
