Representatives from six Belgian and Dutch tour operators are visiting Cork city and county as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The purpose of the visit is to familiarise the travel professionals with Cork’s tourism offerings so that they can better advise their clients about planning and booking holidays in the region.
This visit is part of Tourism Ireland’s ‘twinning’ initiative, with the Netherlands twinned with Cork, aiming to promote the area to overseas markets.
