
First details have emerged of The New Year’s Festival in Dublin will take place from December 29 to January 1 at various locations.
The first line-up of acts for the festival includes Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats, Chasing Abbey, Ryan Mack, Jen Payne, HamsandwicH, R.S.A.G, Sinead White, Chubby Cat, Moncrieff, and Lea Heart.
The event is part of Fáilte Ireland’s Winter in Dublin programme, focused on attracting visitors and positioning Dublin as a must-visit city for New Year celebrations.
The National Museum of Ireland will host live performances on December 30, featuring Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats and other acts. Tickets go on sale on October 26.
Dublin Castle will host events on December 31 and January 1, including the Midnight Moment Matinee and the New Year’s Day Concert, featuring various performers. Some events require tickets, while others are free and family-friendly.

Tickets go on sale next Thursday, October 26, with prices ranging from €29.90. This is an over-18s event.
- A New Year’s Day Concert at Meeting House Square features performances from Rónán Ó Snodaigh and Myles O’Reilly, Dani Larkin, Niamh Bury and Sola.
- The festival aims to provide a four-day program of music, entertainment, and family fun in iconic Dublin venues.
- Another New Year’s Day Concert in Dublin Castle features live performances from Jerry Fish, Dublin Gospel Choir, Code of Behaviour & The New Brass Kings.
Tickets for the family event will go on sale next Thursday at 9am at €22.90, including booking fee, for a family of up to two adults and two children, with €7.90 for additional / individual matinee tickets.
