Manchester and Dublin are currently the unserved destinations with the most connections in Europe for Belgrade Airport.

Belgrade Airport has added over forty cities to its network since the start of the pandemic, with most of the new routes being within the top fifteen busiest unserved destinations in Europe.

Lisbon, which was previously the top unserved destination, is now served by Air Serbia and Wizz Air, while Cologne, the second-placed destination, started operating flights in May.

Manchester now holds the top spot as the busiest unserved destination, with around 10,000 passengers per year traveling on a single ticket, followed by Dublin with approximately 8,500 passengers.

Serbian passport holders face visa requirements for both England and Ireland, making it challenging for travel to these destinations.

Air Serbia currently has codeshare agreements with KLM and Air France, allowing them to offer flights to Manchester and Dublin through their partner airlines.

Other unserved destinations on Belgrade’s list include secondary points in Europe, as well as Yerevan in the Caucasus region and Antalya in Turkey.

Air Serbia is actively working on expanding its route network and forming strategic partnerships to benefit passengers and increase global reach.

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and Air Serbia will both participate in the upcoming Routes World conference in Istanbul, where new routes are discussed and negotiated.
