
Cork based chef Ali Honour is embarking on a new career mentoring, motivating, and advocating for food businesses, individuals, and community groups to operate in a more sustainable way, focusing on areas such as food waste, carbon footprint, nutrition, and environmental impact.
Well known advocate for the “Beans is How” campaign, she aims to double bean consumption by 2028 and actively brings awareness to food waste, climate-conscious food, and the importance of beans in diets.
Ms Honour intends to collaborate with organisations and schools and represents The Chefs’ Manifesto, which promotes sustainable food systems tied to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
