The 2023 Arctic Circle Assembly has taken place in Reykjavik, Iceland, and was the organisation’s tenth meeting.
It was attended by over 3000 participants from 70 countries, making it the largest network for international dialogue on the future of the planet.
The assembly featured over 700 speakers in more than 200 sessions and brought together foreign and climate ministers, leaders of scientific institutions, environmental organizations, businesses, and Indigenous communities.
The discussions focused on climate change, clean energy, and the blue economy, emphasising Iceland’s leadership in cultural, social, and environmental sustainability.
