The Norwegian Prima completed a summer programme in Northern Europe and has now arrived in the Western Mediterranean for the first time.
It is offering nine- to ten-night cruises to various destinations in Spain, Italy, and France, following its repositioning earlier this month.
The ship’s first voyage in the Western Mediterranean departed from Barcelona on October 13 and included stops in Valencia, Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Marseille, Cannes, Genoa, Naples, and Livorno.
The Norwegian Prima’s autumn programme in the Western Mediterranean will also take it to destinations such as La Spezia, Toulon, Cagliari, and Cartagena. Then, on November 20, it will depart Europe for a repositioning cruise to North America, sailing from Barcelona to New York City and visiting destinations in Spain, Portugal, and Bermuda.
During the winter of 2023-2024, the Norwegian Prima will offer seven-night cruises in the Caribbean from Galveston, with visits to Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, Roatán in Honduras, and Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island destination, Harvest Caye in Belize.
In 2024, the ship will return to Northern Europe for a summer programme, as well as offering two Mediterranean cruises in October. As the first ship in the Prima Class series, the Norwegian Prima was designed to enhance the guest experience and features unique offerings like the three-deck Prima Speedway go-kart racetrack and the upscale food hall called Indulge, which offers various specialties and experiences.
