Calgary based Lynx Air receives approval to commence service to Ireland

Calgary based Lynx Air has received approval from the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA) request for flights from Canada to Ireland.

Lynx Air has applied for a license to operate scheduled international services to Ireland under the Agreement on Air Transport between Canada and the European Community and its Member States.

Additionally, Lynx Air has also applied for services to Belfast under the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Westminster Government.

The CTA is satisfied that Lynx Air meets all the necessary requirements for the approval.

Lynx Air, based in Calgary, currently operates a fleet of nine Boeing 737-8 aircraft with an additional 38 aircraft on order.
