
Dublin band Picture This will headline the Countdown Concert at Dublin Castle on December 31 as part of the New Year’s Festival. They will be joined by singers Moncrieff and Lea Heart as opening acts, and the evening will include an aerial visual pyrotechnics show.
Picture This has achieved massive success with over 400m total streams, sold-out stadium shows, and headlining performances at festivals like Electric Picnic.
Tickets for the Countdown Concert cost €49.90 and will go on sale this Friday at 9 am.

The New Year’s Festival Dublin will run from December 29, 2023, to January 1, 2024, across three venues. The festival aims to provide a four-day programme of music, entertainment, and family fun.
On December 30, the National Museum of Ireland will host live performances featuring Dec Pierce’s Block Rockin’ Beats and special guests, including Chasing Abbey and HamsandwicH.
On December 31, there will be a family-friendly Midnight Moment Matinee at Dublin Castle with performances by Moncrieff, Lea Heart, and Lucy Gaffney.
On January 1, the New Year’s Day Concert at Dublin Castle will feature live performances by Jerry Fish, Dublin Gospel Choir, Code of Behaviour & The New Brass Kings. Meeting House Square will showcase traditional and folk musicians like Rónán Ó Snodaigh and Myles O’Reilly, Dani Larkin, Niamh Bury, and Sola.
The New Year’s Day Concert and Meeting House Square events are free, non-ticketed, and family-friendly.
This four-day festival aims to provide a memorable experience for visitors and position Dublin as a city to celebrate the new year.
