Categories for Best Tourist Attraction (Free Admission) and Best Tourist Attraction (Admission charge) have been included in the Best in Cork business awards.
The awards, organised by Cork County Council, aim to recognise the resilience and innovation demonstrated by businesses in the area. The council is urging businesses to register free of charge in various categories, with a strong emphasis on sustainability.
The independent panel of judges will prioritise businesses that have implemented measures to save energy, reduce waste, and prioritise environmental consciousness.
The awards will culminate in a gala ceremony at Vertigo, Cork County Hall, on Thursday, January 25th, where the Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr. Frank O’Flynn, will announce the Mayor’s Best Overall Business. The registration deadline for each category is Sunday, November 12.
