Cork Airport experienced a 23pc increase in passenger traffic during October and processed 253k passengers.

Busiest day was Friday, Oct. 27 and 99.6pc through security in less than 20 minutes. Average baggage return time (first bag) was eight minutes.

Cork Airport’s passenger growth was attributed to various factors, including strong connectivity with Praris for the rugby world cup, holiday passengers, Irish rugby fans heading to France, and visitors attending the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. New routes such as Barcelona El-Prat and Paris Beauvais have been well-received by passengers.
