Air Zimbabwe plans to resume flights from Harare to London Gatwick after clearing IATA payment arrears. The airline aims to operate 4x weekly using B767-300 aircraft starting in January 2024.
Zimbabwe’s acting auditor-general issued a going concern warning for Air Zimbabwe, citing the airline’s USD407.8m losses and overall liabilities exceeding assets by USD380.2m. The warning was due to uncertainties surrounding the airline’s ability to continue operations.
