Tourism Ireland host 15 Italian travel agents in south & south east

Leading Italian tour operator, Cocktail Viaggi, and 15 key travel agents visited Ireland as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize and excite the travel professionals about Ireland’s attractions so they can promote the destination effectively to their clients.

The group visited Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre, Blarney Castle, Nano Nagle Place, Franciscan Well Brewery, House of Waterford Crystal, Waterford Treasures, Christ Church Cathedral, and the Guinness Storehouse.

Marcella Ercolini, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Italy, said: “when they return home, the travel agents will be more enthusiastic about the destination, helping to secure a greater share of their business for Ireland in 2024 and beyond.”
