Borris festival of writing line up announced as ticket go on sale for June 7-9 event

Tickets for the 2024 Borris House Festival of Writing & Ideas, scheduled for June 7-9, are now on sale. Visitors can book day or weekend tickets.

Speakers at the event on June 7-9 will include Margaret Atwood, Cerys Matthews, Leila Slimani, Sebastian Barry, Simon Armitage, and Tom Holland. 

The festival has introduced the Borris Festival Book Club, which is free to join. Each month, a favourite book by one of the 2024 authors will be selected, and participants will have the opportunity to engage in live online discussions with the authors.

Additionally, the Borris Broadcasts podcast series will be launching soon, featuring talks from the previous year’s festival. The podcast will include renowned individuals such as John Kelly with musician Adam Clayton, Ruby Wax, Ian McGilchrist, Ian McEwan, Imelda May, Jeremy Irons, and Bernadine Evaristo. The podcasts are free and can be found on various platforms, with accompanying YouTube videos available as well.

The event is directed by Hugo Jellett and Vivienne Westwood. Borris house is the ancestral home of the MacMurrough Kavanagh family. Tickets available here:
