Turkish Airlines has unveiled new branding and livery for the former AnadoluJet, to be reincarnated next March as a new low cost airline called AJet.
The airline will operate as a fully-owned subsidiary of Turkish Airlines and has a fleet of 79 aircraft, 11 of them leased out of Ireland. Of these, 14 are A320, 20 are A321, and 54 are B737NG or Max.The group plans to increase AJet’s fleet to around 200 aircraft in the next decade.

The unveiling of AJet took place at the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport Turkish Technic Hangar, with the participation of senior team members from Turkish Airlines. The creation of AJet aims to enhance Turkish Airlines’ position in a competitive market and strengthen its operations at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Ankara Esenboğa Airports.
AJet is committed to operating efficiently and sustainably, with a focus on innovation. By offering simplified services and an entirely Economy Class configuration, AJet intends to provide cost advantages in ticket prices to make flights more accessible to a wider range of passengers.
Turkish Airlines Ahmet Bolat said “the efforts and dedication we have put in for a long time have paid off, and we will introduce AJet to the skies with the summer schedule at the end of March 2024. We fully believe that AJet, with its new name, will become an important part of the low-cost aviation industry on a global scale.”
He said AJet will focus on low-cost travel and offer flights to destinations in Turkey as part of its new summer schedule. AnadoluJet was established in 2008 to improve air transportation in Anatolia.
