The Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys TD, will perform the official opening of the ‘Kinsale Library project’ at 10.30am today.
The project has seen an investment of €2.17m from the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund, along with an additional €2.6m from Cork County Council, leading to the transformation of the historic Old Mill building into a modern public library.
Minister Humphreys will also attend the official opening of the ‘Ballydesmond Pocket Park’ at 1.45pm. The pocket park is part of a larger project aimed at improving the village centre and it has received over €868,950 in Rural Regeneration and Development Funding.
