Dublin based AerCap Holdings has signed lease agreements for two Airbus A321 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) aircraft with Spanish cargo operator, Swiftair.

The aircraft will be converted by Elbe Flugzeugwerke at ST Engineering Aerospace in Singapore and delivered to Swiftair in April and June 2024.

Swiftair will operate these freighter aircraft across Europe and Africa to serve its international logistics customers.

This agreement allows Swiftair to grow its route network and meet its carbon reduction targets with the fuel-efficient and flexible A321P2F aircraft.

AerCap had previously placed an order for 15 Airbus A321-200P2F aircraft conversions with EFW in 2022.

Swiftair, based in Madrid, provides cargo and passenger ACMI and charter services across EMEA. It is part of the LUSAT Group, which includes other aviation companies such as Cygnus Air and West Atlantic.
