Shannon Airport will host Christmas-themed entertainment in the arrivals hall, presented by performers from Clare, Limerick, and Tipperary from December 18 to 23.
Various choirs from local schools will be performing carols and Christmas songs on different days, creating a joyful atmosphere for psssengers.
Shannon Airport has decorated its halls and terminal with festive decorations, including a 12-foot Christmas tree and a life-size Santa sleigh for photo opportunities.
Passengers can participate in a special giveaway by nominating a loved one through wishes left on a dedicated Christmas tree in the airport transit lounge. A prize draw will be held on December 23. The airport is expecting 121,000 passengers this Christmas, the highest number for 14 years.
