
O’Callaghan Coaches & Chauffeur Services in Killarney have honoured Denis Lynch at their Christmas staff party at Kate Kearney’s Cottage.
Denis Lynch was the first driver to join Jimmy and Lena O’Callaghan in the early 70s and is the first inductee to the Hall of Fame, alongside the founding members.
Jimmy O’Callaghan said “this recognition celebrates his dedicated service to the company, an impressive commitment spanning five decades.”
“Over this extensive period, Denis played a pivotal role in laying the foundation and shaping key aspects of the company culture, including work ethic and customer service. His consistent good-humoured approach with everyone working alongside him has significantly contributed to the way we all operate and engage with each other.
Denis Lynch’s lasting influence on the company is acknowledged as a key factor in the ongoing success that O’Callaghan Coaches enjoys, and this acknowledgment underscores his substantial and enduring impact, destined to remain with the company forever.
Jimmy O’Callaghan presented Denis Lynch with a slate clock, decorated with a special inscription.
Denis Lynch, now retired, was also popular school bus driver for many years. His’ wife, Peggy, joined him for the presentation.
