The DAA, Irish Rail, and Bus Éireann expect increased service demand leading up to Christmas, particularly on Thursday and Friday.

Passengers planning to travel during the Christmas period are advised to book seats in advance and stay informed about timetable changes.

Irish Rail suggests monitoring timetables for any changes from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Day.

Dublin Airport anticipates 40 to 50 thousand passengers arriving and departing daily until Christmas Eve, with Friday being the busiest day.

While there are no services on Christmas Day or Stephen’s Day, Dublin Airport will have a Saturday service from December 27 until December 30 and late-night services available on New Year’s Eve.
