A survey by MagicGuides has calculated the best days to visit each park at Walt Disney World in Orlando on a crowds-to-weather score.

  • Magic Kingdom’: October 26th, 31st, and November 1st
  • Epcot, October 24- 26 & 31, November 1-2
  • Hollywood Studios: October 24-26 & 31, November 1st
  • Animal Kingdom:, October 23-27, 3031  November 1-3 & 7-8.

The least crowded times at Disney World are typically from January 2nd until just before Presidents’ Day week, the week after Laboor Day until just prior to Thanksgiving week, and the week following Thanksgiving weekend until the week before Christmas. The company offers six further tips for visiting Disney Orlando:

  • On weekends, the parks are generally more crowded than on weekdays. Mondays and Fridays are slightly more crowded than Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
  • To reduce wait times in standby lines, consider arriving early in the morning before the park opens (“rope dropping”) for key attractions. Also, explore attractions during the afternoon parade or meal times. The Disney Genie section of the My Disney Experience App provides wait time forecasts.
  • Use Mobile Ordering through the My Disney Experience app to avoid lines at quick-service dining locations. Consider having breakfast outside the park to take advantage of low ride wait times in the morning.
  • Take breaks to avoid burnout and plan a midday break or designated “day off.” Park Hopper tickets allow guests to visit multiple parks on the same day, and staying on-site at Disney resorts offers many perks like early theme park entry and proximity to the parks.
  • Make dining reservations, called Advance Dining Reservations, as early as 60 days in advance if you plan to dine at table-service restaurants.
  • Utilise Genie+ and Lightning Lanes for shorter wait times on rides. Genie+ allows reservations on the day of your visit and additional ride reservations throughout the day, while Lightning Lanes offer individual access to popular attractions for a separate fee.
