Boeing share price falls after Alaska Airlines blow-out

Shares in Boeing fell initially by up to 4pc in after-hours trading before rebounding as separate investigations by various authorities began into the blow out of a flu on an emergency door location on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has temporarily grounded certain Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft in the United States and Alaska Airlines has temporarily grounded their fleet of 65.

The aircraft involved in the incident had reportedly warned the flight crew of pressurization issues during two flights on the previous day
