American Airlines has stopped accepting cash payments at its ticket sales centres in Argentina due to the country’s weakened currency and radical economic measures.
Customers are now required to use credit cards, debit cards, bank deposits, or wire transfers for transactions at the ticket sales centres.
This is not the first time American Airlines has implemented this policy in Argentina, having previously done so in 2015 and later halting cash payments at Buenos Aires Ministro Pistarini airport.
