American Airlines is making updates to its AAdvantage loyalty programme, including the option to claim bonus Loyalty Points at certain reward levels.
Starting from March 1, 2024, members reaching specific reward levels will receive bonus points, such as 1,000 points for reaching 15,000 points and 15,000 points for reaching 250,000 points.
In 2024, American Airlines plans to introduce the ability to earn miles when paying cash to upgrade to premium cabins and redeem miles for upgrades with select airline partners. Additionally, AAdvantage Platinum Pro members and above will be able to redeem miles for Flagship First Dining passes.
