BA Cityflyer plans to refit its fleet of 20 Embraer 190 aircraft, used on the Dublin to London City service, with new slimline seats, increasing capacity from 98 to 106.
The aircraft primarily operate from London City airport and also serve selected routes from Edinburgh and Southampton during downtime.
BA says the reconfiguration of the aircraft is part their commitment to providing more choices for customers and is expected to add 60,000 seats in the 2024 summer season.
They say the new slimline seats will maximise space and comfort for customers while offering more competitive fares to and from London City Airport.
