Aer Lingus computers unable to use fada

Aer Lingus computer systems are unable to process the síneadh fada accent in the Irish language.

This issue was brought up in a dispute involving an Irish language activist and the Data Protection Commission.

Both companies claimed that they are unable to use fadas when recording customer names and addresses.
