At Fitur 2024, Ryanair and TUI asked Canary Islands hotels to exercise restraint in fare adjustments during uncertain times.

The Canarian Weekly reported that the average daily room rate in the Canary Islands for December 2023 was €138 up 9.6pc increase from the year before. Apartments have also seen a hike, with average rates around €86, up 11.6pc.
