Atlantic Flight Training Academy (AFTA) at Cork Airport has announced the official approval of its new Boeing 737-8200 MAX simulator by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA).
The simulator, designed and constructed by MPS based in the Netherlands, complements the existing Boeing 737-800W Flight Training Device (FTD) already in use at AFTA.
MPS Chief Commercial Officer Erik Jennes expressed excitement over AFTA’s additional simulator order, emphasizing the enhanced training capabilities and capacity with the new device, particularly beneficial for AFTA’s training program, including Ryanair’s Mentored Programme focusing on the Boeing 737-8200 aircraft.
