Voting has begun on a DAA pay deal with a proposed 10.3pc pay rise over three years, alongside a “payroll simplification” package in Dublin Airport.
The trade union involved, Siptu, says that longer-serving staff concerned about potential erosion of advantageous contracts and newer staff disappointed about not receiving roster duty allowances or paid breaks.
Balloting on the proposal started last Monday and the outcome is awaited later this month.
A DAA spokesman said “the company ias aware trade union partners are communicating directly with employees that will benefit from the pay proposals and that representatives are answering any queries in advance of balloting by their members. The proposals have been broadly well received and we await the outcome of the ballot for acceptance this month.”
