The accuracy of a survey by consumer magazine Which? has been challenged by Wizz Air, which finished last for customer satisfaction with a score of 44pc.
Wizz Air was at the bottom of short-haul flights for the second year, followed by Ryanair, Iberia, and Vueling.
Marion Geoffroy of Wizz Air said: “We do not consider the findings of this report to be representative or the methodology used to be transparent. Only 124 Wizz Air passengers were surveyed, while Which? spoke to several thousand people who had flown with some of our competitors.”
Jet2 was rated best short-haul airline in the survey, while Singapore Airlines took the top spot for long-haul carriers.
