Virgin Atlantic has partnered with Sapling Spirits to introduce eco-friendly aluminium vodka bottles onboard its flights.
The 50ml aluminium bottles will be available in both economy and premium cabins across the airline’s fleet, reducing glass and plastic waste consumption.
Virgin Atlantic aims to plant over 20,000 trees through its partnership with Sapling Spirits, which is a climate-positive brand using sustainable practices and local ingredients.
Sapling’s Raspberry & Hibiscus Vodka, made from wonky raspberries, has been served as part of a cocktail in Upper Class since 2023, and the partnership supports Virgin Atlantic’s sustainability goals.
