
Plans have been revealed for the world’s largest airport, the King Salman International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The airport will have six runways and is expected to accommodate 120m by 2030
The airport, designed by Foster + Partners and Mace, will cover 57 square kilometers, with recreational facilities and retail space included
The airport is part of Saudi Arabia’s vision to transform Riyadh into a top-ten city economy and generate 150,000 jobs in the area.
Anchor airline will be Riyadh airline, headed up by Tony Douglas with Peter Bellew as COO.
