The United States ambassador Claire Cronin was among 60 attendees at the promotional event hosted by Aer Lingus for the Dublin-Denver route at Nolita in Dublin.
Key members of the travel trade joined the ambassador, hosts Aer Lingus, Colorado and Denver tourism at the event.
Dublin to Denver commences May 17 and will fly 4w on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Seattle is shown losing a frequency on summer2024 and days of operation change on Orlando. It will bring the total number of Aer Lingus routes between Ireland and North America to 18.
The Aer Lingus departures from Denver are scheduled for 2045 local time. Denver has two 16,000 feet long runways. The city has strong Irish connections and a vibrant Irish music scene. Mayor Mike Johnson of Denver has named his twin sons after Robert Emmet and Séamus Heaney.
