A protest has held by landowners against a proposed greenway route in County Mayo. Two proposed routes have been published: roadside greenway near Louisburg road and elevated greenway away from the road
Landowners fear their land will be divided if second route is approved, and protested against the scheme in Westport.
Landowners prefer route one using existing road for greenway. Mayo County Council is seeking feedback on proposed greenway route before March 22, 2024.
