Dublin airport anticipates 350,000 passengers between Friday and Monday of Saint Patrick’s weekend and 650,000 passengers between Tuesday and Monday. The busiest day is projected to be Friday, with 105,000, including 51,000 arriving passengers and 54,000 departing passengers.

This will be the busiest day of 2024 so far but short of the 120,585 who travelled through airport on the busiest day of last summer, July 30.

Departing passengers are advised to arrive at the terminal two hours before short-haul flights and three hours before long-haul flights, ensuring smooth check-in and boarding processes.

The influx of tourists, including St. Patrick’s Day visitors, Scottish rugby fans, and holidaymakers, will create a bustling environment at Dublin Airport, prompting passengers to plan their travel arrangements in advance, including car parking bookings and considering alternative transportation options like bus services.
