When Flybe was officially dissolved in March 2021, it left 935,460 claims worth £684m from creditors unpaid, according to an update.
Unsecured creditors, including BRAL Trustees and GLAS, did not receive the full amounts owed to them, with only a small portion of the debt being paid out.
Flybe ceased trading in January 2023 for the second time in three years, following the collapse of the new Flybe in April 2021.
The collapse of the new Flybe in 2023 left unrescuable debts of over £82.6m, impacting the creditors of the original company. The collapse disproportionately impacted Belfast City airport, where the airline had a base.
